Uganda
The Directorate of Water Development in coordination with the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) is supporting a trial that includes the installation of a set of rope pumps. The private sector is directly involved in the import of three pumps from Nicaragua. The technical documentation is in place. Installation of the pumps is foreseen for mid 2003.
