In the initial phase small exports took place from Nicaragua to the neighbour country Honduras.
Annual production rate approximately 500 per year with important efforts to open the market to other departments.
Influence area currently mainly in the Southwest of the country with efforts to spread to the middle and North.
Rural water supply coverage that can be reached with the rope pump is at least 25%.
Number of handdug wells in the country is about 100.000.
